Patford House Surgery operate a system where you are seen by appointment only. We can book routine appointments with doctors up to two months in advance and with nurses 1 month in advance. If your condition is urgent, we have appointments available for you to be seen same day, however this might not be with your preferred doctor or nurse. Reception will ask you a few questions about the problem in order to direct you to the right person for treatment. Remember they are governed by the same confidentiality rules as doctors and nurses.

Once you are registered with Patford House, you will be able to book an appointment. Routine appointments can be booked either by coming into reception, over the telephone or online via the above link. Please remember that our lines are most busy between 08:30 and 11:00.

A standard appointment is 10 minutes long. If you feel you need a little longer, please mention this to the receptionist when you are booking.

To book your routine GP appointments online, you first need to register for this service - a link is on the homepage - please complete for the form and hand it at reception.  You will be able to collect your login details from reception after 5 working days - you must bring photo ID to do this.

Early and Late Appointments

We offer early bird appointments at Patford on a Wednesday and Thursday and evening appointments at Patford on a Monday and Tuesday.  These are a mixture of GP and nurse appointments which are pre-bookable only.

Self Check-in

Upon arrival, please book in via our Self Check-In System, which is to the right of the reception desk. To use this system, either enter your date of birth or you can register your finger print with us at reception. Don’t hesitate to ask at reception if you need assistance to check-in. However, if you would prefer not to use this system, please proceed directly to the receptionists on duty.

Running late?

If you arrive up to 15 minutes late for your appointment you may be required to wait to be seen - the clinician will see you when he/she is able.  This is in order to minimise inconvenience to other patients. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rebooked.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.  Missed appointments result in longer wait times to see GPs for all patients.
