Healthcare Assistants

Our Healthcare Assistants help the Doctors and Nurses with taking blood samples, ECGs, Blood Pressure Monitoring, Smoking Cessation, Cryotherapy (freezing of warts/verrucas), Administration of vitamin B12 and Flu Injections. They also run in-house INR clinics for those patients on Warfarin.

Amy Chalk – Amy is our senior Health Care Assistant and assists Doctors with Blood Tests, In-House INR testing for patients on Warfarin, Blood Pressures, ECGs, Cryotherapy. Amy also administers B12 injections and assists with Flu Clinics.

Ami Macallister – Ami assists in taking a range of Blood Tests, In-House INR testing for patients, Blood Pressures, ECGs, Cryotherapy and the Smoking Cessation Clinic.

Lesley Woodhams – Lesley assists in taking a range of Blood Tests and Blood Pressures, In-House INR testing for patients, Spirometry, and assisting Nurses with dressings and wound care.
